Why Eby exists

The name comes from Ebey Slough, the local waterway — a reminder that in this town, water is always close by, and the plumbing that carries it deserves respect.

How we work

Every Eby visit follows the same six steps, and they are spelled out on our process page: we listen, diagnose, price flat, photograph, review the work with you, and back it in writing. A few specifics worth knowing:

• We show you the problem. Camera footage, thermal images, or the failed part in your hand — you see what we see before you agree to anything.
• We price before we touch a wrench. One flat number, in writing. If conditions change mid-job, you approve the change before we proceed.
• We tell you when you do not need us. A dried-out trap, a tripped disposal reset, a water heater past its prime — sometimes the honest answer is a five-minute fix or a planned replacement, not an emergency call.
• We publish our license. Our Washington contractor license number will appear on this site when it is issued. Until then, we encourage you to verify any plumber through the Washington Department of Labor and Industries lookup.

What we do not do

No invented reviews. No stock photos passed off as our jobs — every photo on this site is either labeled as our library imagery or clearly marked as a typical scenario. No hype and no inflated claims about size or speed. We answer the phone, show up in the window we promised, and do the work the way we described it. That is the whole pitch.
